After 23 years of experience in the cleaning and maintenance industry, the family-run business has led the way in innovative cleaning systems with their first company Windows 2000 Cleaning Services, established in 1998. Dedicated to a cleaner and more sustainable future, they have joined forces with SolarCleano Luxembourg to supply their robotic solar cleaning systems to Ireland.

The big question is why do you need to get your solar panels cleaned?

After the initial installation process is completed, the photovoltaic solar panels function at their peak range. Over time, and with different types of soiling such as wind, dust particles, bird fouling and rain, the surface of your panels often becomes soiled, hindering their ability to absorb sunlight and transform it into clean electricity.

Data collected by our team suggests that a solar installation can lose between around 25% efficiency over the course of a year without regular cleaning. All our solar cleaning robots designed for wet cleaning are supplied with 100% deionised water. This process filters out natural and chemical additives from the water, ensuring a streak-free finish on the solar panels and prolonging the clean time compared to using standard tap water.
